I think to truly understand my passion for my Nutrition Plans you need to hear my story.
I was going through some old photos the other day and I have to say I don’t recognise the person in the photos. At school I really struggled with my weight. I was an overweight child and teenager. I was subject to taunts and quite often teased for my weight. After my parents divorce my weight didn’t improve. In fact it got worse (I’m positive their are many photos 100x worse then this one too!). I suffered depression and confidence issues. I never new it at the time but now I look back and I realise how miserable I actually was! I did not exercise and I absolutely dreaded sport and PE days at school.
Then I did my first fitness class. I absolutely loved it! I felt strong, empowered and confident. My love for fitness just blossomed from here. I studied fitness and nutrition through my final years at school. I graduated high school with my certificate III and IV in fitness. I was a personal trainer in my final years at school. I loved this industry. I then started to create my own nutrition and meal plans. I lost another further 10kg after school on my own plans. I felt great! I loved to cook healthy wholesome food and was loving this new found energy that healthy food and exercise gave me.
I’m still on my plans. I could not live without them. The structure, knowing what I will be eating, preparing for success and getting excited about all the new delicious healthy recipes I will try! I’ve been perfecting them now for over 2 years and I will never stop.
I am embarassed to admit the fact that that’s who I used to be. But I don’t regret it. Who I was has given me this burning desire to help others in that same state, to help others lose weight, improve their fitness and definitely improve their quality of life.
